InLocation Alliance’s Exhibition with Member Organizations at ION GNSS+ 2015

 

On September 16 & 17 of 2015 InLocation Alliance hosted an exhibit booth to provide information about the Alliance to the location based services ecosystem. Over a dozen ILA Member Organization presented on Standards and Demonstrations Panels at ION GNSS+ 2015. Five ILA Member Organizations co-located in the ILA Exhibit Booth: Intel, Nokia, indoo.rs, Combain and TRX Systems. Rx Networks and Spirent also had exhibition booths.

Frank VanDigglen, Charter Member from Broadcom received the distinguished Kepler Award presented at ION GNSS+ for his significant and fundamental contributions to the practical, affordable and enhanced use of satellite based navigation for consumer applications, especially for mobile handheld devices; contributions to GNSS interoperability; and dedication as a navigation educator.

ILA Members participated on the Standards panel discussion:  Mr. Christian Gates—VP Strategy and Development—NextNav; Dr. David De Lorenzo—Principal Research Engineer—Polaris Wireless; Dr. Greg Turetzky—Strategic Business Development—Intel Corporation; Mr. Steve Howser—Solution Manager  – Nokia; Mr. Jim DeLoach—Director of Engineering—Qualcomm.

ILA Members participated on the Demonstration panel discussion:  Nokia; RX Network; Indoo.rs; Combain; Microsoft.

TRX Systems, Broadcom, Combain, and HERE also held demonstrations and/or presentations.

The booth brought quite a lot of traffic for ILA and for the Member Organizations who located within the ILA Booth and ILA Member Organizations found the ILA Exhibit Booth to provide a great Membership Opportunity for organizations to meet with potential customers and provide a dynamic space to demonstrate the various technologies and solutions.
